Project Overview
Developed a clear, visual Strategic Plan that transformed complex ideas into an easy-to-understand roadmap for the community. Designed with residents in mind, the plan balances clarity, accessibility, and long-term vision — proving strategy doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective.
The Challenge
The Strategic Plan arrived as a collection of notes, ideas, and director input — but no real structure or clear direction. While the content was important, it didn’t connect, it didn’t flow, and it certainly wasn’t something the everyday resident would want to read (or understand).
The goal was simple in theory: turn complex internal thinking into a strategic plan that actually made sense to the community.
The Work
We started by listening. Conversations with multiple directors helped uncover the true vision behind the scattered notes. From there, we dove into research — analyzing countless strategic plans to identify what worked, what didn’t, and what was missing.
Working closely with the Director of Public Affairs, RJP Creations transformed the content into a visual, easy-to-follow plan. The focus shifted to clarity, cohesion, and accessibility — replacing cluttered information with thoughtful design, clean layouts, and intuitive flow.
This wasn’t just a document redesign. It was a full content and visual restructuring.
The Result
A plan that people can actually read — and want to.
The final Strategic Plan is clean, engaging, and easy to understand for residents, staff, and stakeholders alike. What began as confusion evolved into a clear roadmap for the city’s future — and remains one of our proudest collaborations.
